Product Description:
Cutthroat Caverns is a unique and fun take on the RPG and card game world. While Cutthroat Caverns is a highly interactive card game it is easy and fun to play, it requires the strategic thinking of a board or RPG game. This great little game also makes you feel like you are in the middle of a classic dungeon crawl from your favorite RPG, even though table talk is about as much role-playing as you are likely to do.
There is no real set kind of person who will like this game. People who like card games and RPGs like it, but many other people who would never play an RPG have fun as well. There is strategic planning involved between balancing helping the party (to stay alive) and working towards your own selfish goals (which risks everyone).
One thing that makes Cutthroat Caverns unique is that there are no dice. How does that work you may ask. In Cutthroat Caverns you are trying to gain prestige by being the player who makes the killing blow to the monster in your encounter. For each turn, you will choose how much damage you are willing to do to the monster, as you jockey for position to land that all important killing blow. When players make that kind of decision, things can get very funny & very deadly - very quickly. With 25 encounters, all requiring a different group strategy and separate individual strategy, game play is always challenging. In each different game only 9 random encounters will be used, so the experience is always different.
